Main / Getting Online / How To Configure Your Equipment

BizSDSL Equipment Configuration:

How to configure your bridge:

Your bridge requires no configuration. Your bridge converts the DSL signal to a signal recognizable by the ethernet card in your computer.

DSL configuration is done inside of the router or computer that the DSL circuit is connected to.

How to configure your router:

Your router can be configured two ways:

1) Through the router's command language.

For information on configuring your router by the command language, refer to the routers CLI guide. For BizSDSL, click here. For BizIDSL, click here.

2) Through the routers internal web configuration software.

To access the the routers internal web configuration software, point your web browser to the router's internal IP address. (By default, the IP address is set to 192.168.254.254. To access by the default IP, point your browser to http://192.168.254.254). Your IP address may have been changed by the installation technician to match the configuration of your network. In that case, refer to the paperwork given to you by the installation technician.
